MODULE #1
The Bath & Coat Prep
Set up the bath and work through two shampoos, a light condition and a careful rinse to leave the coat clean, hydrated and knot-free — the foundation every good trim is built on.
MODULE #2
Drying & Brushing Out
High-velocity and stand drying done right: separate the coat, lift dead hair and remove curl, then line-brush and comb-check so it's straight and ready for the snap-on combs.
MODULE #3
Pads, Sanitary & Tail Base
The short, tidy work on a #10, #15 or 30 blade pads, sanitary, a clean bottom diamond and the tail base all the prep that sets you up before shaping begins.
MODULE #4
Blocking In the Body
Establish the outline before you refine it. Work through the blade and comb choices and the outside-to-middle method to set correct proportions and a level top line.
MODULE #5
Setting the Legs & Feet
Build straight, even column legs and neat round feet. Learn the clipper pass, then scissor and round each leg so all four match and nothing flares on the move.
MODULE #6
Shaping the Head
The round head that makes a Bichon Frisé. Open the eyes, build the eye-and-nose triangle, frame the eyes, hide the ears and set the crest into the neck.
MODULE #7
Tail & Final Check
Finish the natural tail plume, then step back and check the whole outline, round, even and in proportion, with smooth transitions from head to crest to body to legs.
